Warranty & Repairs

Every piece carries a one-year repair warranty

All Gold Jewelry USA pieces are covered by a manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of delivery. If a piece fails because of how it was made, we repair it free of charge.

Your order number is your warranty

There is no card to keep and nothing to register. We hold the record against your order. To start a claim you need either your order number or the email address used on the order. If you have neither, contact us and we will look it up.

What is covered

• Broken or failed solder joints
• Clasps, catches and spring rings that fail in normal wear
• Chain links that separate in normal wear
• Stone settings that loosen without impact damage
• Manufacturing faults in casting or finishing

What is not covered

• Accidental damage, bending, crushing or impact
• Loss or theft
• Normal wear — surface scratches, rhodium plating wearing thin on white gold, patina
• Damage from chemicals, chlorine, salt water, or wear during sport or manual work
• Any work carried out by another jeweller
• Resizing or alteration done elsewhere

Pieces altered or repaired outside our workshop are no longer covered, because we cannot verify what was done to them.

How to make a claim

1. Contact us with your order number and a description of the fault. Photos help and usually save a shipment.
2. We confirm coverage before you send anything, so nothing travels unnecessarily.
3. Ship the piece to our return address, tracked and insured. The address and mailing instructions are on the Shipping & Returns page.
4. We repair and return. Turnaround depends on the work involved; we will give you an estimate when we confirm the claim.

Who pays shipping

• To us: the customer. We recommend insuring the parcel for its full value.
• Back to you: we cover return shipping on any repair covered by the warranty.

Repairs outside warranty

We also repair pieces that fall outside the warranty — accidental damage, older pieces, and work bought elsewhere. Send photos and we will quote before doing anything. No work begins without your approval.
